Relying on a well‑established rendering process, the project achieves the safe disposal of deceased animals while promoting resource recycling, thereby providing robust infrastructure to support regional disease prevention and control and the management of farming‑related pollution.
According to reports, the entire process is centered on high‑temperature, high‑pressure rendering technology and integrates modular equipment for crushing and conveying, high‑temperature rendering, oil–water separation, exhaust‑gas treatment, residual‑material discharge, and automated electrical control. Diseased or dead livestock and poultry raw materials are conveyed in a sealed system into the crushing unit; after grinding, they are fed into the rendering vessel, where pathogenic microorganisms are inactivated under high‑temperature, high‑pressure, closed conditions, thereby eliminating the risk of disease transmission. Following processing, the material undergoes a separation stage that yields separate streams of rendered fat and meat‑and‑bone meal, enabling the resource‑recovery of waste. A complementary exhaust‑gas and wastewater treatment system operates in tandem, with the entire process conducted under sealed, negative pressure to prevent odor emissions and secondary pollution.
The entire system features an automated electrical control design, enabling remote monitoring of the production process, reducing direct human–material contact, and enhancing operational safety. This technology is adaptable to the needs of small, medium, and large-scale treatment facilities, with a flexible and adjustable processing capacity. Once commissioned, the project will effectively address the challenges of collecting and disposing of dead livestock and poultry in the region, facilitating a shift from “unregulated disposal” to “centralized, harmless treatment and resource recovery,” thereby supporting the development of an integrated, green, and circular livestock and poultry farming industry.
Industry experts emphasize that the harmless disposal of dead livestock and poultry is a critical component of the animal disease prevention system. The widespread adoption of integrated, turnkey equipment can continuously enhance grassroots capacity for handling such carcasses, reduce the risk of spreading major animal diseases, and, at the same time, transform waste into recyclable resources, thereby achieving a win-win outcome in both ecological and social terms.
